Educating the whole child

Elements of Learning. Committed to Excellence

Our curriculum is based on the research of the most renowned education experts. It features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Tailored planned by our education team, to suit each child’s specific needs and support these important early years. We want to inspire children to be bold explorers today, and joyful confident learners for life, beyond their time in a classroom.

We believe that children learn best through play and are inspired by child based learning. We have several different areas of play and discovery.

Art

Alfresco Art? Oh yes! Kids will love painting and drawing, and creating collages, flower bouquets, gluing, and crafting to their hearts’ content!

Orchard

The Toddler and Preschool Groups have an orchard in their outdoor space. The children and teachers contribute by planting, then harvesting fruit, vegetables and herbs when ready.

Outdoor

Our children benefit from a variety of outdoor play spaces. In addition to our playground, play houses and mini driving zone, they experience the natural wonders of our backyard, our orchard and fruit trees.

Math

A preschool math curriculum should be a comprehensive program that is effective, measurable and diagnostic, aiming to develop metacognition and mathematical thinking, including interactive activities, learning games, printable worksheets, assessments, and reinforcement, and it should all be fun and effective. That’s why we use the Singapore Method to teach Mathematics at Once Upon a Time..

Literacy

We trust our systematic and integrated literacy program that promotes language development in preschool children.

Want to know more about us?

img

We bring children closer to nature in a playful and imaginative way. We believe children learn by exploring the things they are curious about and building on the knowledge they already have– primarily exhibited through play.

  1. Our Teachers

Teachers help children learn by creating an intentional rich environment to explore via exciting educational activities.

  2. Image of the child

Teachers can shape and build on each child’s knowledge by discovering what they already know through observation, one-on-one conversation, clarification, and invitation to explore the world around them.

  3. Environment is important

We like to work and play in attractive surroundings so our buildings are clean and pleasing to the eye. The outdoor environments are large, have colorful and interesting play areas, and a variety of trees for children to help harvest the fruit when in season.
